Qi Flow & Fit

$34.95

Description

A unique program to not only warm-up the muscles and fascia by circulating and activating Qi, but also strength train, build muscles, improve balance and flexibility. This program is ideal for those with no extra time in their day to do a separate class for Qigong and another one for strength training. Now you can do both in one routine in half the time! Includes a cleansing Qiflow routine of 21 minutes followed by a fitness routine of 43 minutes, targeting major muscle groups in 5 categories.
As both a personal trainer and Qigong instructor, I find this to be a winning combination for maintaining optimum movement and good health.

II – Fitness – 43 minutes
1- Lower body (squats, lunges, bridges, monster walk)

3- Abdominals (planks, dead bug, heel tap, back extension)
4- Balance (punch coil & weight shift, stand on one leg, heel toe walk)
5- Flexibility (hamstring, quadriceps, calf, inner thigh stretches and runner’s lunge)

Description

From a Chinese healthcare perspective, one’s health is dependent on an abundant supply of Qi. Qi is necessary for all your organs and body functions just like gas is necessary to run your car. Qi means life force just like Prana in India or Ki in Japan. A daily Qigong practice is an important strategy to slow down the aging process and promote vitality. From a western healthcare perspective, muscular strength and conditioning play a crucial role in one’s health and active lifestyle. This is the reason I chose to produce a program combining East and West, featuring my Qigong training and my personal training background in a single video. The Qi Flow routine opens and enlivens the meridians in a 20-minute flow practice and the Fit routine begins with the major, large muscle groups, moving to the smaller muscles, targeting those functional muscle groups needed for activities of daily living.
